Patagonia, an AltShift green-built, sustainable project.

When Patagonia expanded its presence at the Outdoor Retailer show, they selected Atmosphere as their partner for the design and production of their new environment. The design process was truly a joint effort with Patagonia's Visual Merchandising and Store Design group working hand in hand with the Atmosphere cast. The resulting 3,700 sq. ft., two-story structure has an amazing look and feel, but the true beauty is how the Patagonia products are presented. Individual settings use distinctive hand-tooled fixtures for merchandising the various product categories.

The new Patagonia exhibit won "Best in Show" at Outdoor Retailer Winter 2006. The judges remarked how the Patagonia brand and product groups were presented very strongly on the show floor, while still being true to cultural roots. This was evidenced by the authentic look and feel of the environment, and the utilization of green production materials and techniques. For example, the exhibit used salvaged corrugated metal and reclaimed lumber for the work shed element, reminiscent of Yvon Chouinard's original shop in Ventura, California.
