Ortho Development Corporation is a medical device manufacturing company. The company designs, manufactures and sells orthopedic implant devices of the highest quality. When they attend the annual AAOS (American Academy of Orthopedic Surgeons) conference, they are presenting themselves to their core market: the surgeons and other end users that will rely on the life enhancing products and services from Ortho Development.
Requirements for the AAOS exhibit included projecting the essence of the company by exuding incomparable precision with an ultra clean look and creating a subliminal fluid feel through nested forms and technical surfaces in the space.
Show traffic was greeted by an approachable reception area that invited attendees into the 900 square foot, two story, welcoming environment, where products were prominently displayed by category in smooth elliptical forms. To encourage close inspection, individual devices could be picked up from their fitted cradle displays and easily returned to the orderly array. The mezzanine level conference room added more display area, as well as a private meeting space for VIP customers. Technical, full-bleed graphics in light controlled settings popped the major messages of the event.
Ortho Development chose to collaborate with Atmosphere to develop the design, fabricate the exhibit and provide all field services; the results were evaluated by AAOS show management and the new exhibit was given the highest ratings possible on the Exhibiting Effectiveness Evaluation report.
