T-Mobile NBA All Star Weekend 2008

Following the success of the 2007 T-Mobile presence at the All Star Weekend, Atmosphere was challenged to engage even more of the attendees during the All Star Weekend. The creative team at Hornall Anderson Design Works rose to the challenge and drove the engagements to new levels; inventing many new physical and digital activations. These creative applications stretched Atmosphere’s design and production people in new ways! The new environment for 2008 was more focused on the game, the front end of the event set featured a full-sized half court and a shooting contest driven by an announcer, shot clock, buzzer and ever-changing intelligent lighting shot locations. After having a chance to show their skills, the attendees were enticed through a flashing tunnel into the many engagements in the back half on the 5,600 square foot environment. The many interactive engagements attracted huge crowds that participated and created their own memorable experiences that all acted to re-enforce the T-Mobile objectives for the NBA event. The creativity of the engagements and the high quality of the execution surpassed the client expectations.
